The Yale Institute of Sacred Music
The ISM is an interdisciplinary graduate center that educates leaders who foster, explore, and study engagement with the sacred through music, worship, and the arts in Christian communities, diverse religious traditions, and public life.
As a major arts presenter in New Haven, the Institute offers a full schedule of concerts (some featuring Yale faculty and guest performers), drama, art exhibitions, films, literary readings, lectures, and multimedia events during the year. Each year the Institute sponsors well over 100 events open to the public (including 40+ student recitals), which are attended by an estimated 25,000 people.
I manage marketing, communications, and publications — and also special events.
Job Summary: to promote, present, and represent the Institute and its activities to the Yale community and the outside world through its communications and publications, including the website and social media; to oversee its special events and projects, including all aspects of conferences and events.
